Mumbai: According to the latest viewership data released by BARC India, Republic Bharat’s market share has surged 16+% in week 33. The phenomenal growth of the channel in the supremely competitive Hindi News Genre has come on the relentless SSR campaign.
In the Hindi Speaking Markets, the channel garnered a market share of 16.40% in week 33 where as in week 32 the channel garnered a market share of 14.38%. Similarly GTVTs of RBaharat increased from 92116 in week 32 to 104153 in week 33. AajTak and India TV follow Republic Bharat with 14.26% and 11.43% market share respectively.(BARC: NCCS ABC M 15+)
The channel’s market share has crossed the 16% mark in week 33 as compared to week 32 across all major metrics.
In the overall HSMs, According to BARC data for week 33, Republic Bharat has left competition behind with GTVTs touching 193673 in week 33 from 172638 in week 32. (Source BARC: NCCS 15+ HSM)
Across the Hindi Speaking Markets, in NCCS 2+, R Bharat leads the Hindi News Genre with a total of 223101 GTVTs in week 33. The closest competition, Aaj Tak is 22423 GTVTs behind RBharat. In the Market share RBharat is 1.61% ahead of the closest competition.
